Plan in December (2)

Updated: Nov 7, 2020

At the same time, a foreign friend who happened to pass by brought an idea what about a gesture game.

In some advanced countries, I think small children get familiar with playing to imitate or pretend to be an elephant and a caterpillar in a kindergarten. But in Cambodia, where preschool education is not common, children are not familiar with a game to imitate something. Even in an elementary school, what children lean is only the national language and math in countryside, and they have less opportunity to express something with their bodies.

While discussing further, we came up with a game to describe something with words instead of gesture. For example, if the topic is an apple, we can describe and explain about an apple like, “red, “ “round,” “fruit,” “imported from the US (in case in Cambodia)” etc. We’ll make up 2 small groups and one side shall give out those kinds of descriptive hints and the other can guess the answer.
