BBE programmed the first clay craft with the children!

Children made simple handmade cards to their supporting parents abroad and reflected on their memories of the past year. What was most memorable in these children's lives?

We made papercraft cards with our foster children using symmetrical shapes.

Thanks to our supporters, more children have been able to participate in this program, gaining new experiences. Through crafts and writing, children will develop their thinking skills.

The essays on the cards are about things you are proud of and things you want to praise yourself for.  Even if it's not something they can be openly proud of, we wanted them to be free to write about even small things like, "I'm good at this," "I have this strength," "I think this is a good aspect of me," or "I'm working on (something) with this mindset."   At this point, we told the children who always get good grades in class to write about other things.  It's great that th

We were reminded that crafts are not just mechanical creations, but require a variety of thinking, and that we must guide children to be able to do so.

During the craft time, children had time to reflect on ourselves. We wanted the children to be able to live their daily lives more fulfillingly by focusing on the things they are proud of and the things they are working hard at.

Now that the children have gotten used to cutting and pasting, we've introduced them to some slightly more complicated crafts.

Since their land was threatened, the children in Cambodia have paid tribute to soldiers on the front lines, cared for their fellow refugees, and wished for peace.

We thought with children together about whether there are any particular characteristics of this time of year. It was a good opportunity for the children to look at their lives from a deeper perspective than usual.

As part of developing the children's writing skills, we introduced them to brainstorming and they tried it out.

The spring educational program consisted of scene description practice and imagination development exercises.

Children enjoyed making 4 different types of Christmas cards.

Our foster child program has started in a new area. At that new region, we had the first concrete activity with the children who are not yet used to cutting, pasting, writing, and other activities.

Heartwarming, that the children shared given colored paper each other and decorated their pen holders in unique ways.

One more objective in this craft program was to familiarize the students with the concept of glue margin.

During our autumn program, children made a pencil holder, practicing using a ruler and compass.

Taking our foster children to Angkor ruins, letting them touch the national heritage and profound history.

Children joyfully concentrated on the game and had a fun to play!
