Pop-up Card (2)

Relatively lower grades of children participated in this program.  They were excited to see colorful papers and were curious which colors would come to their hands.  I really think this kind of intellectual stimulation is good for children.

We moved from one action to another while making sure that everyone understood each work.  Until cutting out a symmetric shape from a half-folded paper, all children were able to complete.  We fully felt children’s happy atmosphere to cut colorful papers.

When we moved on to cut a 4-folded paper, although children were trying very hard to follow our example, some children mistakenly cut off apart the center of the paper.  Many of those became very disappointed and thought they couldn’t complete their work any longer.  A few other tried again but failed again.  Then they lost their motivation to continue the work.
