I wrote about a letter-writing a few days ago, but the letter is a way to convey our feelings and it isn’t necessarily a means of learning, I think.
The priority is that what foster parents want to tell can be fully conveyed to each child. Even if children can’t think of any word to return, we hope at least they can feel how much their parents abroad care about them and can imagine how they are living. Certainly foster parents are supporting these children financially, but it should be the heart that connects their relationships.
Nonetheless, the more letters children receive, the more they can learn about the world, and we can even expect children’s vocabulary and ways of expression will increase. Therefore, it’s also true that we would like foster parents to write more and more letters.
