Translations of children’s essays have returned.

I was personally paying attention to the children whom we started to support in recent years. I found they, who at the beginning couldn’t really move their pens, wrote well this time. My expectation rose when I saw a lot of lines written on their papers. And now when I read what they actually wrote, I understand many children followed the given theme and made sentences with details. It’s a pleasant surprise.

Certainly we’ve been doing some programs that could help children’s learning, but I strongly felt this is a result of school education. Many schools in villages don’t have full-time teachers of particular subjects, or enough textbooks or study materials. Even so, I thought that continued education is still valuable.
