Writing work after a long absence

Children wouldn’t have had a chance to write compositions while their schools were closed. So we conducted a writing program at our visitation, while preparing pencils that can make children feel fun to use!


The first theme is "the most interesting lesson content since the new semester began.” But of course I think no all children/students like to study, so we also set up “the most boring lesson content” as an optional theme! We requested them to write as much detail as possible about what content of which subject it is and why he/she found it interesting (or boring), but how the result would be…


And since the new semester just started this September, we asked them to think about their goals for this semester. This is the 2nd theme. About their goals and what they want o challenge, we’d like to check with them if they’ve achieved or how they’ve been achieving at our next visitation in spring.


After writing, we asked if anyone wants to present his/her essay in the class. But it seemed that there were not many children who voluntarily want to do. Therefore we selected some children who made a kind of exemplary, well-writing essay, and asked them to give a presentation. We hope this can give some hints to those who didn’t know much idea how to compose essays.
