FEB

In Cambodia, although some subjects’ curriculums exist under a decision of Ministry of Education, public schools usually have a difficulty to carry out those classes because of a shortage of budget, teacher, and/or teaching materials.

This time BBE planned to teach such subjects that had not been taught.

MAY

AIDS & sexual morality education at Univ of Management and Economics.

In Cambodia many NGOs have been providing knowledge about AIDS, and National AIDS Authority also works on through media, clinics, schools etc.

Preventive measures generally suggested are: 1, a contraceptive device; 2, one partner in life.  However, contraceptive device is not a perfect method because it can rather encourage to have relationships with unspecified large number of people.

Thus BBE emphasized more on the dignity of sexuality, gender differences, & moderation in action to create happy life.
